Corrales Valley Splendor is painted on a small canvas 6x8 raymar panel with lots of paint and loose brush storkes. Billowing clouds build and change colors as the sun has moved into the western horizon. The valley floor is alive with fresh earthy grass and the tangy smell of the cottonwood trees. The north edge of the Sandia mountains remian rugged and strong as the colors of the sun and sky play off of its granite face and the great clouds.

Chamisa and Red Bluffs is a colorful and back lit small oil painting dipicting a georgous and diverse area around Abiqui New Mexico. The clouds are blocking the sun setting the clouds to pristine white in a turquoise sky and casting the red and purple bluffs, silvery grasses, chamisa and mountain asters into shadow.
